A bit of nothing and everything (1)

Hello Ozzies!

Today, some random stuff about Machida, my work, and my everyday life here. It's been a couple of weeks that the temperatures go below zero during the night, and in the morning we wake up with snow everywhere! I like going to work like this...The first two pictures are from around my house, the third one is outside the company.

We have a bit of a crazy weather these days: some others, you can wake up with 20 degrees C outside and a bright sun in the sky. And you can see the trees starting to blossom. These are some pics from the trees inside Schlumberger:

Antoine (one of my friends from SupĂ©lec in Paris), came for a couple of weeks to Japan (well, by he's still here!). During his last week, we did some sightseeing around Tokyo. Among other places, we went to Ebisu, where Robuchon's restaurants are (there's a third one in Roppongi, but it's more a tapas bar...). I have to say, the French castle in the middle of the steel and concrete of Tokyo was quite unexpected...

I would like to end this random post with two videos I took a couple of days ago, while going to work. It was the first time the Yokohama line (it's the name of the line I take to work) was having delay. The results? Well, just take a look at the platforms...

People around here get a bit [add your adjective here] when this kind of things happen...And they believe in the compressible capacities of the human body. They really believe in this. It's the only reason to explain this kind of behaviour...

So this is it! More in the next post, Ozzies!
